My Love Affair with Nespresso: Favorite Pod Flavors & Iced Latte Experiments

I got my Nespresso VertuoPlus in cream as a Christmas gift, and it’s been love ever since. She’s sleek, reliable, and makes me feel like a barista in my own little café corner. Whether it’s a hot latte on a slow morning or an espresso martini on girls' night, she’s always delivering. I swear, it’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever received.

Ever since unboxing day, I’ve been obsessed with creating content around my coffee rituals. I post my daily brews on TikTok, experiment with new recipes, and love trying viral iced latte trends — especially in aesthetic glassware with my favorite straws (you know the ones).

After months of testing different pods and combos, these are the ones I always keep stocked — they’re my go-to faves that never miss.

1. Sweet Vanilla (Barista Creations)

If I could only have one pod forever, this would probably be it. It’s perfectly balanced: not too sugary, just a soft, smooth vanilla note that pairs beautifully with frothed oat milk. I love using this for iced vanilla lattes — sometimes I’ll add a pump of vanilla syrup and a splash of cinnamon for a cozy twist.

2. Golden Caramel

Golden hour, but make it caramel. This one is rich and buttery with that warm, toasted caramel flavor that’s just chef’s kiss. I use it when I want something indulgent without being too sweet. Try it with brown sugar syrup and a dash of sea salt for a little salted caramel vibe.

3. Bianco Doppio

This one is made for milk — literally. It’s super smooth, low in acidity, and blends into milk like a dream. I reach for Bianco Doppio when I want a classic hot latte with no fuss. It’s mellow but still gives you that satisfying espresso kick.

• Iced Vanilla Shaken Espresso – with Sweet Vanilla pod, oat milk, vanilla syrup, and cinnamon shaken over ice.
• Brown Sugar Caramel Iced Latte – Golden Caramel pod, brown sugar syrup, cinnamon, and almond milk.
• Espresso Martini (Nespresso-Style) – Bianco Doppio, vodka, Kahlúa, and a touch of simple syrup. Shake it up and serve it with espresso foam on top. Instant crowd favorite.

I genuinely look forward to my morning brew and low-key treat my coffee bar like a little self-care moment. Music on, machine humming, frother spinning — it’s peaceful, creative, and honestly, therapeutic.
