SCOTLAND:

Our adventure continued in Scotland, where I once again found myself indulging in local brews. A significant portion of my travel budget seemed to find its way into the pockets of local pubs, but I didn’t mind one bit. Scotland’s expansive landscapes beckoned for exploration, and I came to truly appreciate the beauty of the natural world around me.

UK:

On to the beauty of England—specifically a charming little town called Falmouth. If you ever have the opportunity to visit the U.K., please, for my sake, make a stop in Falmouth. The locals were incredibly welcoming, and the homes exuded an industrial charm that created a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. I became slightly (okay, extremely) obsessed with the homemade ice cream; it was delicious no matter where I found it.

As I climbed the hills, each ascent brought even more breathtaking views. One of the highlights? I had the delightful experience of petting a goose—yes, you read that right! Who knew geese could be so friendly?

London

Then came my absolute favorite destination: England, particularly London. I fell in love with the city and envisioned a future where I might call it home (2025 bre speaking - I am going to own a flat in London). From the vibrant culture to the stunning architecture, there was nothing I didn't adore—except perhaps the high cost of restroom access! As an avid shopper, London was a dream come true. The city offered an unparalleled shopping experience that left me exhilarated. One highlight was discovering a massive four-story Urban Outfitters, a paradise for anyone with a passion for fashion.

This journey was not just about the places I visited but also about the profound impact each location had on my perspective, igniting a lifelong love for travel and exploration.

In short, my love for the U.K. runs deep, and I can’t wait to return.

To this day, I still can’t fathom how I managed to leave that place without going bankrupt!

PARIS:

Our 12-hour adventure in Paris was nothing short of exhilarating! We hopped on the Eurostar, a fast undersea train from London (Kinda frightening but I slept the whole time), and arrived in the City of Light, ready to make the most of our fleeting visit. From the moment we stepped out of the station, we embraced the energy of the city, covering over 30,000 steps as we explored iconic landmarks. We wandered through the charming streets of Montmartre, took in the breathtaking views from Sacré-Cœur, and marveled at the grandeur of the Louvre, even if we only had time for a quick glimpse of the Mona Lisa. Each corner of the city revealed a new delight, from quaint cafés to vibrant street art, and we indulged in fresh pastries at every opportunity. As the day wore on, our excitement kept us going until our feet finally gave out beneath us. We may have been exhausted, but the memories we created during that whirlwind day in Paris will last a lifetime!

Happy blogging, loves!
